    Legacy Payment Question?

    I just started my trial period (just bought the game). Am I still eligible for the Legacy payment system? Can I purchase 90-days in advance to ensure this? I'm not sure when 2.0 is releasing... would suck if it released 60 days from now and I was only on my second month =/


    Anyways, just curious if I am eligible or not...

    2.0 is expected for beta by the end of this year around oct,nov,dec with a Q1 of 2013 real release for the ps3

    You can read information about 2.0 right here. At the end of New FINAL FANTASY XIV Outline document you can peruse the details of the Comprehensive Roadmap which states September to October 2012 for "Begin distribution of version 2.0 software for PC". Currently they should have started porting of current game content to version 2.0 client.

    I can't find the post, but the devs will be giving players a fair warning to let them know when the cutoff will be before legacy status becomes impossible. Pretty sure they will want anyone that returns with the Welcome Back campaign to be eligible for Legacy status, too.
