What's the general vibe of the current gap between skill floor and ceiling?

In the end they could make it as simple as three buttons and some players will still insist on only pushing one. They really need to keep that in mind when making some changes.

Losing some aspects was sad to see on certain jobs (RIP mnk positionals, AST cards and healers overall, DRK being so freaking boring and Living dead still remaining subpar), others losing jank for me is a joy but others lament the loss of skill expression by making said jank work. It seems like they took a lot of the speed out of some jobs, an aspect I enjoyed. I am all for having accessible jobs within every archetype. But I would appreciate having at least one more skill expressive job within each. For melee to me it was monk, not so anymore.

There is content for everyone typically. Narrowing a gap doesn't bring more players into content they did not do before.

Bringing in players is not as important as sustaining players.

Pardon me for asking, but what character do you have this experience on? Since it's not the one in your profile to be making such claims.

On my main I have week 1 kills, 99 percentile when I bothered speedrunning (rank 4 in one of the tiers), triple legend (on patch for two of them), top 100 PvP, and Lone Hero. I don't claim to be a top player though since I'm not hardcore (my last static I played like 4 hrs a week). But I do know enough to be making these assertions. That's all you need to know.

This alt does have a shitty UCOB kill though, but honestly anyone can clear UCOB these days so that doesn't mean much.
