I disagree the problem isn't the queue time. The problem is the error 2002 you get while trying to get into the queue and even while in the queue. I would probably go as far to say that this expansion has actually been the most unsuccessful launch FF has had. I would also like to iterate that the game was delayed for an additional two weeks for QA and I would think one of the first things to check would be accessing the game. SE has had server problems since this game was released and the fact that they continue to have server issues 8 years later is completely unacceptable. Instead a simple apology and being told to deal with it. You can defend these actions all you want but would honestly be ignorant to ignore this fact.

Most unsuccessful launch? Lol. This is the first time they have had an early access launch, with queues in the thousands. Shadowbringers wasn't even remotely close to having this amount of congestion.

While I understand the problem, I have to sit for hours in the queue to be able to get in the game and then pray I don't get disconnected and returned back to more hours of waiting. Yesterday I waited for 6 hours before I could actually play. Today I've been sitting in queue for 2 hours already and still have 2000 people in front of me. While there's nothing that can be done about it and I obviously will wait because I want to experience the story, I have a right to be upset about this situation, I paid money to play this game and I have to deal with difficulties that SE should've dealt with years ago.
So please, stop telling people to be patient and appreciative when you yourself don't experience the same problems as others do.

yes over all its close to perfect but people have problems and they do not need to suck it up as its not a free game.

Queue time on light is 3 to 8 hours atm (depending on your spot)

I spent 3 hours in a queue of ~3k until I hit spot 6 and got kicked by a lobby server error ... back to 8k

I have no clue what they are doing, but they 100% exclude every person with a job from this release (atleast on my DC)

Most if not every MMO has rough launches cause the corp behind it doesn't want to pay too much for new hardware which will become useless once the initial hype dies down. Every MMO does that and it is a well known practice and they all say the same "We didn't expected so many players". And yes this is the case even if semi conductors would rain from the sky and covid would be healed by a miracle, why buying new servers when it goes anyways back to normal in like two weeks?

It's just good business at the end of the day, for every company that brings out MMOs.

And best is that you can wait few hours and then when you are on 500 or les spot get kick and go back to 6-8k.I cant play at the morning because i have work and famyli too so for me it means that I pay subscription this month for nothing? Because it means that when i have finally time to play i will not be able to log? Its really sad I expect some trouble but not be able to play even i paid is not only trouble its really unexpected and sad. I really love FF 14 iam playing from beta of realm reborn but never was so sad and so angry. Get always kicked during waiting to log in the game is unforgivable Iam good with waiting but this is really sad.

Exactly people dont mind the queue. The problem is the error code 2002. This same error happened on Outriders launch.

The error prevents you from even getting into the queue. While in the queue you can get the 2002 error and get kicked out. If you get 2002 repeatedly your spot will no longer be held and you will start over in the queue.

But if you can get past that and into the game. The server is really stable. No lag, no stuttering. Once you get into the game, everything is awesome.

Also getting kicked while being in the queue and then getting put at the end again, especially great for like 6k queues. Waiting would be not a problem if you don't get just put back at the end at random.

Maybe because it's the truth? See what suits you mate, we individual player can only do so much to affect others' experience, I'm just stating the chances and the other way to look at the problem. Like I've said, adapt and adjust, or simply wait till the hype's over. I myself is having fun so far since the launch at 4am yesterday.
