"Search for Item by crafting method" setting?

Not sure if I missed something or changed a setting somewhere, but I'm sure I used to be able to access this subcommand by right clicking on items in my inventory. Looks like I can still get it within the "Search recipes using this material" window, or within the crafting log. But, for example, I can't search directly how to make any of the food I have in my inventory.

That was a really nice feature and am hoping it wasn't culled somewhere along the way.

Edit: similarly seeing "search by gathering method" missing from inventory subcommands. And, before anyone asks, I don't see either in the Subcommand Customization menu, either.

I can't remember having the "Search by crafting method" option appear on the inventory submenu in the past (which was a source of frustration at times). I've only seen it on the marketboard, crafting log, and "Search for recipes using this material" result submenus.

Hm... Could be I'm misremembering. But I was certain I was using it right up until 6.0.....

Either way, it needs to be, for sure. I'm often less concerned about what I can make with [item], I just want to know whether or not I can make [item] myself (and thus can vendor it and reacquire later) or if it's somehow special and I ought to hold onto it (or sell for an appropriate profit).

If you've leveled all your DoH classes and obtained all the available Master books, a search by item name in your crafting log will let you know if you can craft it. Being able to do the search from inventory would be nice QOL but you still have the other option.

Generally, marketboard value is the way to determine if an item is worth holding if you don't have an immediate use. If the item won't appear in a marketboard search, then you know it's not crafted (collectables and other DoH use specific items not intended for trading the obvious exceptions). If you received it as loot in a dungeon/trial/raid, it can't be crafted (though loot drop gear can share models with crafted items if you're thinking about glamour).
