I had some bloat at first then realized 4 different skills did the same thing so shaved some off, skills like Tridiaster, Ruin, Summons, Trances ect. Which resulted in less skills than DNC at 80

Summoner buttons are just weird. Ruin turns into big summon nuke, but not your little primal nukes. Special big primal skill is a nuke for one and a targeted heal for the other, making macros tough, etc. It's simultaneously the lightest and most janky bar, because I can't just put one nuke on say the nuke button.

Note that I play using a controller so this can apply to PC or PS4/5

Now this may sound odd, but I took off the SMN job stone, put on armor and went to Lakeland as an Arcanist to get a feel for what the base skills were and got a feel for my bars at that lower level to see what was what.

Once the new functions for the summon buttons were clear, THEN I put the stone back on and figured out what new skills overwrite what base skills (ruins etc). From that point I put all my summon/elemental skills on the right side of my bar and all skills tied to our character directly on the left. I am not sure if this was a thing before but RUIN IV is now it's own individual button that is only usable based on RNG (For some reason I'm thinking it used to just overwrite ruin III when it was available?)

    Using the Summon (Lvl 80+)
First you will need to summon Demi Bahamut (or dreadwyrm trance, or the new one they added for Carbuncle pre lvl 70) This will enhance your normal spells like Ruin and tri-disaster and give Enkindle if you have at least Dreadwyrm Trance. Once that timer is up THEN you may select your 3 other summons. This applies to carbuncles for lower levels as well.

When you first select a summon you must be targeting an enemy, simply summoning by itself will automatically execute an attack all on it's own. It will also instantly highlight the two elemental skills that I recomend placing on the same place on your bar as the summons. One is always single target, the other is always AOE. They basically serve as better versions of Ruin and Tri Disaster. The properties change slightly based on which summon you use.

Ifrit/Ruby:Has a somewhat slow cast time but is powerful (Best used when not targeted.)
Titan/Topaz: Instant cast for both ST and AOE. Aoe seems to expand from slightly in front of the selected target. Relatively large area.
Garuda/Emerald: Instant cast with a cooldown slightly faster than Titan's spells. AOE expands from target's exact position. Great for when you need to be mobile.

Note that at this time there may be more separating Titan and Garuda than I could tell over a short period but they seem very similar.

Once all three summons are expended you will likely be ready to do another Demi Summon either Bahamut or Phoenix depending on which you used last. As soon as the demi phase is over your three summons are recharged and ready for the next rotation.

Almost forgot, Do not forget to use energy drain (single target) or energy Syphon (AOE) to charge your two Aethorflow slots and weave in Painflare (Single Target) or Fester (AOE- no longer requires dots to work) inbetween other moves at any time as they are not on Global cool down.

    Hopefully this all helps!
