The Problem with Machinist Auto crossbow

Hello, I don't normally post but i feel like i wanted to be heard on this, i've been playing machinist since heavensward and casually raid.

I noticed that we get spread shot upgraded to Scattershot and the potency becomes 150 this is an aoe skill that we just repeat.

Autocrossbow has a potenecy of 140 but requires you to use hyperdrive to active it does less potency and and requires some of your heat gage hyperdrive only gives 20 potency to single target skills.

I think scattergun now makes auto crossbow irrelevant and you would never use it especially since it uses resources from your heat gauge while scattershot doesnt and effectively does less damage,
My suggestion to fix this is to either add more potency to auto crossbow or have hyper drive effect auto crossbow.

with auto crossbow in the state it is in now it is an absolutely useless skill in level 82+ content.

Auto Crossbow has a gcd of 1.5. Scattergun has a gcd of 2.5. Auto Crossbow remains a higher DPS skill because of this.

oh right thats fair, guess i didnt really look at that. i was trying to figure out why auto crossgun would still be useable but that does add up and something i missed when comparing. thanks.
