What about people who have to work in the morning or work until late? Not taking into account the fact that each person should play whenever they feel like playing.
In a perfect world, sure.
But during launch weekend you ought to understand there will be queues.
Or download Teamviewer i dunno.
2002 is fine. Typically you can attempt to requeue and gain your spot back if you had one. 4004 is a harder one to deal with, it mean you lost your spot.
But yes, it's been said to death "I can't get into game, therefore game is bad." People just can't grasp the idea that millions are trying all at the same time and technology just isn't available to deal with that load. It honestly never has been. It's not an excuse, it's a reason. The apologies for the issues preceded the launch. Please stop being obstinate and understand the difference.
If you don't have the patience, entertain yourself with something else and alleviate the issue for others. The game will be here when you return. If you're valuing that "Fresh Expansion" feel. Guess what? This is part of it.
unprecedent , FFXIV has been gaining players since summer , my server at least always had queues 100...200 ...sometimes 400-500ish for monthsThe reason the EU servers weren't overhauled with the US and JP servers is because they were brand new. There was no reason to do so. It is a shame and it sucks that the EU datacenter is having so many problems, and for the problems that existed well before the super conductor issue reared its head I can get being upset about. But this is a very specific problem, and the EU datacenter just wasn't large enough to handle the same massive influx that the NA and JP saw with WoW refugees. Unfortunately, that influx was unprecedented in unprecedented times and cannot be remedied with any amount of cash. At least not the amount that SE has give the FF14 team to use, and maybe not even the amount that SE as a whole has at its disposal. Hells if it weren't for the super conductor shortage the Oceanic Data Center would have been up and running already, so I imagine they would have also had extra servers for all the other Data Centers. But alas, when something just doesn't exist it can't be used.
