The excuse that they can’t do anything didn’t work at launch of 2.0, and you white knights still spouting it are just sad.

This happens for pretty much every mmo expansion that involves a huge volume of people trying to get in and play. It's not new, and it's not limited to Final Fantasy XIV. Compound this issue with an unexpected influx of players over the summer, and a pandemic slowing down the chip supply chain, it is amazing they only pushed the game back two weeks for seemingly unrelated reasons. I'm unhappy, and frustrated. I've tried to get in all freaking day, and have had both a client side issue, and a multitude of 2002s. It has been an unfun day all around. But I highly doubt SE is resting on their laurels, nor do I think there is some great solution that they overlooked and everything would just be fixed if they did it. I have been through several MMOs that have had expansions like this, and so stating that this isn't unexpected hardly makes me a white knight.
