Am I doing something wrong? (2002 error)

Hi !

Finally got off work, ready to go in. Expected the long queue but every time I try, im 5000+ queued in, when it goes down about 1000 to 4000~, I get an 2002 error, game crashes, go back in, queued back to 5000+ again.

Am I missing something? Queue I was expecting but I'd like to be able to complete the Q.

No, 2002 just means the login server is overloaded.
Have to keep trying.
I figure by the time I get in, early access will be over.

Nope nothing wrong. Servers are so congested that you literally can't even complete the queue.

I invite you to look at the plethora of threads on the forum before making another one , but no it's not just you. Alot of people are trying to login and it's breaking the login servers. Same there are alot of people in-game and servers are reaching cap. It should die down in a few hours depending on the server.

what an absolute disaster of a launch. you would think they would be prepared for this, especially after the wow refugee influx but nope. I'm used to queues at a new xpac launch but to wait for hours in a lobby and get error 2002 and be back at the end of the line constantly is a pathetic joke.

They expressly told us they weren't prepared and there was nothing they could do about it because the chip shortage is stopping them from taking the steps necessary to fix their servers. Yes it's been awful, I haven't been able to play all day. I'm disappointed. But they straight up told us to prepare for this to be the case.

I've been trying for 4 hours now, the queue will start at 5000 plus. I keep moving my mouse, when I get down to 2000-1700 in the queue I get booted. Every. single. time. SO ANNOYING. What is the point of a position in queue only to be booted?
