Ban Free Trial Accounts from Playing During Early Access

It's unacceptable that us paying customers that support the game and bought the expansion for the early access bonus are unable to play the game while people with 20 Free Trial accounts are able to AFK in Limsa Lomisa via HUD/Performance exploits.

Please ban Free Trial accounts from playing during early access week to alleviate server congestion and allow us, paying customers, to play the game we paid for in advance.

e: Alright I'm going to have to baby talk some people through this. Botters and other free trial account players logged in early this morning as soon as the servers went up and the queues were fast and have not logged out since using a multitude of exploits to do so. Check reddit, check Twitch, you will see people coming across botters and other AFK people in Limsa Lomisa among others.

If I'm not mistaken, paid accounts already have priority access in the queue. That being said, their queue system is hot trash.

They do have access, but the problem isn't the LENGHT of the queue, but that it keeps crashing.

He's not wrong, you know. Course we'd never be having these issues if the auto-afk logout was actually enforced regardless of what state the client is in, along with just fixing the queue system so it remembers your spot reliably when there's a lobby error. Waiting in line isn't half as frustrating as getting to the front only to see "Pool's closed."

Some on reddit saying they snuck in, on low population world and aren't leaving. No way to know truthfully. But the way SE designs stuff it wouldn't shock me.



Also too late now. But in two years time they will have to disable those accounts so they aren't straining the login server period. Probably should have already been implemented, but live and learn I guess.

They can queue, I believe. They just constantly get pushed to the back of the line by paying players.

That is the way the describe it at least. Which is great when the login server can only handle 17,000.
