Yeah, we're Patch 6.1 already, still have those exact audio stutters like most of folks that been reporting it. :C
yep.. having the same exact issue ever since 6.0 dropped. it's worse in residential areas, and i hear it nearly always when i log into my ward in the lavender beds. it's really prevalent in arr zones as well, i've been hearing it non-stop while playing on my alt and it's ruining the experience tbh. i hear the crowd noise when i log out, too. a fresh reinstall didn't fix it either.

Still have the problem here too. Patch 6.08 or 6.1 haven't changed much, having the same issue. Now it even start to cause lag and framerate drop that makes the game barely playable and is not constrained in big fight or what, getting the same problem in small city or even instanced contents. Spacial Audio didn't change anything, neither disabling the Dual Shock thing or whatever.
Running out of thing to test to get the game back and this thread and other looks like dev considered the case closed >_>

Problem still occurs. It's very annoying.
Can confirm my spouse's PC is still experiencing this issue. I think it has gotten SLIGHTLY better as of a recent patch after it got worse, but it still has yet to fix itself. My suggestion is for folks to post this stuff in Bug Report so they know it's not an isolated incident of one or two players. I think it's happening to such a small enough pool of players now after they did the initial fix (which broke it for others) that it's possible it's being overlooked.
I am also experiencing this issue. It's extremely distracting. I hope a fix for it comes out soon because nothing I've done on my end has done anything to help.
Tried the Beta Version of 1.2.0.7 for my motherboard now but nothing changes... still the popping with the Ambient sound effects.
Guess have nothing to do with tpm bugs (worked fine before Endwalker) either so its really getting frustrated with this crap and combination with the high lags on EU server.

Ambient track is still giving distortion in 6.1, worst in some areas than before.
6 months since Endwalker release and I don't want to play the game. I forced myself to get through the MSQ. This bug is killing my experience, I've played since ARR in 2012 and NEVER had this audio issue.
I can bet it's related to the greedy deal Square took for the garbage "3D immersive audio!" scam.
I want to chime in and say that I also have this issue of noise cutting in and out.
It happens anywhere and everywhere, mounting up exacerbates it, and it seems flying makes it even worse. I don't remember hearing it in 6.0, and I quit playing between then and 6.1, so I don't know if 6.0.8 was the culprit for sure.
It's very obnoxious, and while I initially thought I could deal with it, it's wearing on my nerves.
