one second, let my look up my directx version for you... need to find the command lineThe funny thing is my best friend use the same core as i do and he dont have any problems. It is just strange. Befor 6.01 both direct x versions where stutterin in fight. Now with new parts and the 6.01 Patch, direct x 11 is alrdy in log in screen an direct x 9 no sound problems but time from time freezes in towns for like 5 sek that may end in a crash of the game. I am not a tech expert but its strange as hell

just copy between the brackets and view
As you can see it is all in dx 12 for me, all updated.
Visuals have never been a problem even on max settings... only the audio is.
Anyways that is enough from me for today, I'm sure I am interrupting someone's temper tantrum about refunds and demands of excellence as they see fit. So that will be all from me today, till then, tend to thine babes and teach them a better course of discourse.

Yeah i got direct x12 as well but the game in the launcher starts on 11 or u turn it of and play it in 9 if u click in configurations in the ff14 launcher u can turn off directx 11 support and then the game will run on DirectX 9
ty for embeding what I posted =)
no... it will run on whatever dx version you have installed unless directed otherwise
I have tested fates with a full party so far since its the most problematic area for me with this sound bug. I am getting it about at the same rate as I was on launch week, so that is a huge improvement, considering I can actually play with game sound on now, whereas yesterday, I had to shut it all off just to play.
I have done one Trust dungeon with no problems also.
Still need to test all the areas I submitted in my bug report but what is important is that it is still not fixed.
Edit: Just teled into Old Sharlayan and immediately started getting the sound issues.
