After installing the patch, nothing has changed. It's still impossible to play.Good day to all! I apologize for my English, I use machine translation.
During the fight, the sound is very hoarse and distorted. And that's what I found. Distortion occurs when the camera is behind the character. When I move the camera to the character's face, the distortion disappears and the sound works as it should. AMD FX-8320e processor.
I attach a video demonstrating this. In the video, I use the same skills, both from the back and in the face. Maybe this information will somehow help technical support.

Patch did nothing to address this sorry, still the same.
"Peace is but a shadow of death, desperate to forget its painful past... Though we hope for promising years. After shedding a thousand tears, yesterday's sorrow constantly nears. And while the moon still shines blue, by dawn, it will turn to scarlet hue."
―Kuja, Final Fantasy IX

So I'm on, and the issues are still the same. I was already on those settings, and changing off and back on didn't help either. The stuttering is still here.6.01 Patch Notes came out and this is what it has for "Audio Issues" that were fixed
An issue when playing the opening movie for Endwalker wherein audio channels were switched, resulting in improper sound balance (PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5 only).
An issue wherein selecting Logitech PRO-G 50mm under Sound Settings did not affect audio quality.
An issue wherein enabling Immerse Spatial Audio prevented sound effects from playing under certain conditions.
An issue wherein certain sounds do not play correctly under certain conditions.
* We expect sound issues created after the release of Patch 6.0 to be resolved via adjustments to the sound engine. Should you continue to experience sound-related issues, we recommend the following:
Open the Windows control panel, select your default audio device, and view properties. Then, under the Advanced tab, select a lower setting for the default format. (A lower bit rate and Hz range is less system intensive.)
Other minor text issues have also been addressed.
I'll have to give the settings adjustment a try if there's still popping.
The same thing! Only in Final Fantasy XIV is there such a problem.5 minutes after maintenance ends, I log back in under dx11 to go smack the dummy I test this on and the audio's still stuttering like crazy. So here's hoping for 6.05!
EDIT: I should mention I'm also on an FX CPU. A 6300. Every ounce of respect due to the engine devs but like, this is the only game I have this issue in and I refuse to accept it's all our computers not being up to the task.
Same. Bumped my game back up to DX11, smacked a dummy around, heavy stuttering in both sound effects and music. I'm also on the lowest possible settings for audio quality my system can go, so it can't possibly be a case of something not being up to the task. Something on the game's end is just requiring too much juice or something.
Nothing changed after patch 6.01. Changing the settings according to the advice from the patchnotes does not help either. As far as I understand, only people with a certain hardware have these problems. But problems occure only in this game, in others sound works perfectly.

Hey I just noticed something:
The bug report thread(s) for this issue seem to have been moved to the "Confirmed/Planning to Address" section of the forum.
I was going to say over on the bug report thread before that it wasn't fixed, and it wouldn't let me, took me a second to realize it's because it was because the thread was moved there.
(Actually, I don't know if that means they thought it was fixed or are working on it? Should a new thread be made where people can send in reports and system info?)

Still encountering distorted audio. AMD FX-8320.

For me, on the AMD FX-8120 CPU, the audio popping issue only got much worse since the patch.
Before it only appeared in certain angles in combat, and I could alleviate the problem by moving the camera around. Since the patch, the popping persists after it starts, and it appears even in benign circumstances, such as visiting the GC Squadron HQ or playing Triple Triad Open Tournament.
No fix for me either.. I've never had an issue with sound since my sprout day in late shadowbringers. Only with the launch of Endwalker did these problems begin. Hopefully they can work this out because I would really like to hear the entire game experience.
