Is early access, early access if you don't have access?
(Not complaining, I understand everyone wants in. I just find it a humorous question.)

Yes, it is. Some things exist even though one will never experience them. Even though one might have been promised the experience and paid for it. Even if one feels they were lied to - it doesn't negate the existence of the thing in question.
Many people got in and played during early access. Hundreds of thousands. More played than didn't play - otherwise there couldn't have been any queues. People have to stand in line to make the queue, and the queue going down (at all) is proof people got in. Also I got in, and every time I got in, the place was packed.
The great pyramid at Giza exists even though I have no means to go see it. If someone promised me airfare to Egypt, and then set fire to that airline ticket right in front of me before we got on the plane (or the plane broke down, or I missed the flight, or my Lyft went nuts and took me to Disneyland instead of the airport... or pick whatever circumstance you want) it doesn't negate the existence of the pyramids.
