Please fix the grace period while in queue

Entered the queue at 1,997 and after 80 minutes it finally got down to 24. Sat at the queue count for about 5 minutes (not unexpected just need a few people to log off) then got a 2002 lobby error. Now I'm at 2,730 in queue even though it took me less than 30 seconds to get back into the queue.

I know the system is in place to remember queue position because this morning I got several lobby errors and was given my position in queue again while some of my friends were still behind me in queue.

Sadly this happened to me as well. Was in 12 in queue. Got the 2002 error. Returned to be 1600 queue. It's all kinds of infuriating. Last night though it happened to me but I was able to keep my spot in line.

Another lobby 2002 error has sent me back to 3,836 in queue. An additional layer of frustration is I have to keep an eye on the queue because of the lobby errors. If I was presented with a 4 hour queue that'd be one thing. I could just start the queue and take a nap or go run some errands while it ticks down but as it stands, if I want any hope of playing I have to babysit the queue.

1600 when I started my queue. Down to 8... "The lobby server has encountered a problem". Log back in less than 15 seconds... 2200.

This should not be happening these days. This is not acceptable. An apology is not enough.

Spent 45 minutes in queue, got a 2002 while #11

And the queue starts over, I should be experiencing the same thing again in about 35 minutes

I'll be honest the only queue ive ever had has been so short it hardly mattered.

I've seen people say it exists. But IF it does, it either isn't enabled currently or it's so short it might as well not exist.

WoW had a system in place for this issue way back in 2006. There's no reason for any MMO to not have a system in place to deal with this these days.

It exists, and always has. Cancel your login then immediately queue back up on the same character, you'll be in the same spot. Gonna try some ARR hacking when I get <300 (back then if you were <100 you could cancel and log straight in without a queue)

When you hit cancel you can't try to log in for like half a minute after, so lol no ''''hacking''''

Also I've seen people who have the extra protection code not be able to get their queue spot (Friends specifically) but I haven't had that issue at all with getting my queue spot back

That is not the case now. Just cancelled at 251, instantly back in at 251 without being told to wait (like it was doing pre-expansion)
