Nope, we just understand how the world works. But I'll throw you a bone since clearly you must be new to the MMORPG market. Launches never go as planned, ever. Get used to it or stop crying.
Let's be honest. They provide incentives for preordering, so you can beta test the servers. IE; like all other "AAA" companies.
Sure kiddo, you feel like the adult in the room now? Since you got all that mmo launch experience?
What? No, this didn't start till early access. It's interesting how all the "fixes" don't start till official launch. They can run on "well, it's early access, the game isn't officially out yet". The same crap 343 did with Halo Infinite. "It's in beta".

My point was, the congestion would start when 6.0 dropped, no matter if it was "early access" or "normal release".
We just had a weekend to play the expansion instead of it dropping on a weekday. They've done it this way since heavensward.
Really? Like, no servers have crashed. The game is fairly bug free. The only real issue is capacity and the login server. That's it. I'd hardly call that the most botched game launch in recent histroy. Fallout 76, New World killing GPUs, etc, etc.

Of course they aren't crashing when people aren't able to get in.
