Could you be more specific? I have this headset and crashed moments after logging in. My headset wasn't producing the sounds correctly, so I switched to my speakers which sounded fine, then back to my headset only for the game to crash to the desktop with no errors.

1660 (reg)
21h1 for my OS
2.9 ghz
16 gb ram ddr4

literally just changed it from chat to game and it worked. i wish i saw this earlier as it would have saved me HOURS of uninstall/reinstall. Thank you so very much;<3<3<3<3<3

Hello, didnt solve sh*t for me.
I was already in Game by default.
Sound is absolute garbage in game and I'm missing track for voice and spells.

I am using an Arctis Pro and this fix worked for me as well! Thank you for posting this, reinstalled the game 4 times before I found this fix!
