dont feel bad was on trail got to 60 tranferd charter to new game lost 3 weeks mounts ect got start over at lvl 1 again with nothing = im done and why need the new game with no charters = done i played wow i have 77 charters there all max but dont like what happend there so left

6.0 Summoner (especially before level 86) = 50 Shades of Ruin.

Job is so boring without those Favors. I was going to give it the benefit of the doubt but it is boring. 86 levels of the exact same Ruin spam. You don't get the elemental versions of Ruin until 72 and you don't get the AoE versions until level 82. Summoner is going to be amongst the most boring jobs to play if you so dare get synced down to level 85 or lower.

Im going nuts waiting to get home and try it. I truly believe the job was way too complicated for most. I do hope (and expect) it isn't as simple as some are saying. Im sure its fine.

A huge improvement over the old way where you had a ton of abilities that clogged up the hotbar and didn't work well together.

I've been a Summoner main since the very beginning and I honestly really quite enjoy its new self. Its got a good foundation that they can finally build off. Also, it actually feels like a Summoner to me now.

I feel like a broken record when I have to keep saying this. BUT IT WILL NOT BE BUILT OFF OF. People constantly said the same shit about ShB MCH, ShB DRK, and Healers since SB, but if anything they've only taken away or barely changed anything from these classes rather than built off of them.

WHAT YOU SEE NOW IS WHAT YOU'RE STUCK WITH, FOR GOOD. Unless there's a masssive shift in dev philosophy by the FFXIV team or the JP side throws massive shitfit on par with the male viera stuff. It's not a base to be built off of, it's the full damn job and the "mch" of casters.

They probably won't build off it, that doesn't mean it's not a good foundation to build off of.

Also, unlike MCH, DRK and the Healers, providing a new foundation to build off of was one of the reasons cited by the devs for the SMN rework.
