I have an alt I decided to race-change via fantasia to Male Viera with the new expansion. I also bought a name change for this same character. I haven't logged in on this character since the new patch/content update. I am continually met with the message "A name change is required to log in with this character". When I right click and select "change name" I am also getting this prompt. I have also purchased multiple emotes and 2 heroe's journey's from the store for this character so I would like this to be resolved or to be refunded.

Having the same issue as well, it's not the first time this happens...

I don't mind 2000+ queue, but not even able to even get into one is annoying.

Also having this problem, the queues don't bother me but being locked out completely is driving me nuts.

It's because the server is congested and cannot access character data and thus you cannot rename or use a fantasia.

I'm in the same boat so I guess I just blocked myself from playing for a few weeks until the server congestion goes down. I'm not smart.

Same, going to set my alarm clock until extreme early morning and hope for the best. BTW - This strategy can also help for housing savage. No guarantees.

Apparently in the same boat, bought the name change, then used the fantasia, pulled off the stuff, logged out, couldn't change it or anything. guess thats what I get for trying to do it during high traffic based hours. should have done it earlier this morning instead of being a dunce by doing it now.

I had wanted to see the dungeons blind while that was still socially acceptable. So I'm bummed.

Same issue, name changed after race changing and now i'm locked out of the game. right clicked on my character and there is an option. "Change Name" after selecting it I get this message "A name change is requied to log in with this character"
