    I've been having the same problem (DX11 errors on launch) since EW. It seems to occur completely at random. Switching to DX9 allows me to log in but the game crashes just a few moments later. Switching back to DX11 solves the issue temporarily. Square Enix needs to fix this...

    Same Issue`

    Hello,

    I've been having the same issue since about 48hrs after EW was released. Sit through the que to log in, then get kicked out within a few minutes.

    Always get the same msg:

    An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting FINAL FANTASY XIV. 2021-11-27_1420

    KERNAL32.DLL + 154E0
    ntdll.dll + 485B

    I have tried the suggestions about changing the sound from Arctus, but not having or using that series i have been unable to find it.
    Also tried to roll back directx, as is currently directx 12, but I must be missing something as i cannot.

    Would anyone have any further suggestions?
    I am currently reloading the game for the 3rd time today and have made sure the drivers are all upto date.
