Sounds is VERY distorted

As I get through the que, which we knew would be large, I get into the game and ALL sound is Distorted and crackling, robotic and like pixilated.. I checked everything on my end, and nothing is wierd there. Anyone else having issues? I mean every sound, UI, cinematic, everything is distored and robotic.. Any one else? Any fixes known?

Having the same issue. when I turned off Direct X 11, it fixed that issue. it also looked like playing through my headset would have the sound issues with Direct X 11 on, but playing through my PC speakers. it is fine.
With Direct X 11 turned off. it works in both sides.

Same here, using a SteelSeries arctis 7, sound super distorted through headset if DX11 is enabled, played fine through speakers though. Headset sound was fine out of game. Tried updating headset software, but only thing that worked was disabling DX11 in game. The game also threw a DX11 memory read error at close...

I do apologize for the audio issues you may have experienced. We suggest to perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and selecting the 'Start up' Tab. Then, Disable everything and then restart the PC. Additionally, you may want to try switching to DirectX 9 by selecting the ‘Config’ button on the launcher.
