    I don't tend to look after my combo-buttons, because I know how they play out, but when you suffer from lower precision (either debuff or lower level), it's easy to get a miss, which was reflected to a flattened sfx.
    I know exactly what you mean, the sounds were changed to sound the same whether you succeed or fail a combo. I'll use DRK as an example.

    Was trying it out on a training dummy. Really can't tell the difference. But it's also difficult to really notice the change because of the reg-effects on them. I used to tell them clearly appart and it was so noticeable in ShB.

    yeah, when the issue occurs a specific thread that handles audio increases to using the equivalent of an entire core which results in other things in that same thread being choked, when there are a significant amount of sound sources playing at once audio gets dropped as well as time stretched in some scenarios rather than just stuttering, the distortion is because the cpu is servicing a particular sound that hasn't been dropped which was longer than the effects which tended to stutter, which are usually shorter more rapid sounds
