    Having the same issue too. I'm wondering if it's to do with how the client is accessing this new spatial sound pack thing and is trying to access it even when it shouldn't (as in, it's not available/installed).

    EDIT: I took the advice at the top and switched to the DX9 client, and it fixed the problem - all sound effects work as normal, so this is clearly an issue with the DX11 client. Looks like I'll have to stick with old faithful DX9 for a while longer at least.

    Same thing happen to me mid Bozja not restarted client yet but sound effects are gone
