Other games remember where you are. It is same problem when you dc in an instance and it puts you back into a world que. Other games are like "hey he isn't here anymore let us wait and see if he comes back." Early MMO's used to have this problem and fixed it. Was nothing like being on teamspek/ventrillo on raid night someone dcing and that was end of raid because they had 45 min que to just get back in.

Here's the thing... every MMO, every XPAC we have seen this. SE even announced there would be long queues and errors. They admit they wish they could have upgraded servers prior and had every intention to do so but the "thing" and chip shortage... eh...

The chip shortage card gets played a lot. You know they never say when they ordered or if they were willing to pay the price. Server hardware is out there for purchase. For all we know SE was offered new hardware at the new 2021 prices and laughed it off. Or they didn't decide to order any till July or even later. You don't get a pass when you don't share all the info.

LMAO this is the opposite of us. I was obsessed with LoTR when I was 17 and devoured everything having to do with it. Every time we watch the movies (Extended ofc), and in every other scene I'm like "Hey, in this scene and this scene" and my husband is just "babe... babe pls..."

This is is the only one I've played that boots you out of the launcher each time you have an error. Least in other games you could access the queue to get in and go do something else...

Ya I think this is what irks me the most.


I have no issue with the queue, but they knew it was going to be bad, and don't like you save your spot in queue after a dc? That just adds a extra level of stress.

Actually. when people get kicked off because of a "lobby error" there is not error. what is going on is priority streamers are logging on and the game is set up to kick everyone else off. so they can log in fast.

Actually, they did say they'd be willing to pay the current market prices, but the equipment they needed simply was not available. This isn't a Dell server they can order off a website, it's high end data center equipment, and there's a wait list for the highest end stuff.
