Kicking in queue really sucks.

Of all the early accesses that I have been involved in only 1.0 went the way it was supposed to. For the last 3 expansions the earliest that I was able to realize any meaningful playing time was on the 3rd day. This expansion is proving to be no different. If I can even get past the launcher I get a 2002 error on the data selection screen. The one time I was actually to select my character I was queued for 36 minutes before I received the dreaded 2002 (still 2100 in que). Someone wake me up when the game is ready to play.

my friend kept her queue so if you manage to get back into the queue past all the error 2002 in time then the game will keep the queue but there is some kind of time protection that if you go over it like me then it puts you back at the end of the line I guess... so lobby error 2002 is the first rng layer to get into queue then have to contend with it again if it boots you...

Can confirm. I just got booted out but was able to get back in quickly enough to keep my spot. Frustrating that you can booted even from queue, but I also completely expected this. For those complaining, SE knew this was going to be a problem and tried to get more infrastructure, but were stopped by the global shortages. It's not like they didn't try.

Fortunately Goblin isn't as busy as Balmung, I came back at 2714. My Roommate got back in at over 4k

After being booted from queue, lost count how many times I've tried just to get to the character select screen... I give up. I don't mind sitting in queue for an extended period, I get that, but this is actually stupid.

Next expansion I'll unsub, then come back a few months later when it's actually working.
