It just sucks that it's a whole face and not just facial hair. You can't just add it on, you need a Phantasia to remake your character.

It really is too bad that they had to make a "new" face just for the stubble. I guess they might have some issues in the code or engine since they didn't just make it into an option in the CC/Aesthetician. This also probably means that other races won't be getting new facial hair (and eyebrows from Highlander) unless the dev team make some upgrades to their system.

Still, I'm happy to have it since I was planning on switching to midlander using that face anyway

Or they want to sell more Phantasias. This can easily be a bussiness driven decision. I do not think, that their game engine so limited that there is no room for more facial options.
