Or is this the entirety of its changes

-New animations
-Botd now a trait. qol I guess? No more refresh when the boss is away eg vs engels
-Qol to fang/wheel to 30s
-2nd spineshatter and lifesurge. Yay I guess?
-Wyrmwind thrust

idk it feels like drg got yet another line aoe and thats about it. The rest is just qol that didnt require an expansion.

Its still better than what they did with dark knight and the healers.

I feel like I'm either missing something or the changes really are this minimal

Changes are minimal, but did Dragoon really need much? Alot of what other jobs got was QoL and making AoE and ST rotations kind of blend together in a way. Dragoon already had alot of this already so there was no need to change it.

You also missed the fact that Sonic Thrust, 2nd in the AoE combo, now applies the buff from Disembowel. So no more having to use Disembowel during AoE to keep the buff up.

Life Surge and Spineshatter getting a second charge is excellent, as it lets you bank a charge for burst windows, and have more flexibility about when you use them without actually losing usages.

Also, Raiden Thrust no longer requires hitting your positionals on Fang and Claw and Wheeling Thrust, and there's an AoE version of Raiden Thrust (Draconion Fury) that you get from completing your AoE combo. It's also specifically a buff called Draconion Fire when you complete your single target or AoE combo, and can be used on either, which means you can use your AoE combo and transition directly into your single target combo starting with a Raiden Thrust upgrade (or vice versa).

As a side note, be careful with Youtube searches.
I wanted to check Mrhappy's video of the DRG changes in Endwalker and when I searched for them there was a spoiler as one of the first suggestions from another Youtuber of the end of the story.........

Didn't see that on any of the others only DRG but anyways be careful.
