Play however you want, but if you wanted a suggestion I'd try to do them as you go along. Unless you've got limited time and a general goal or other reasons, because there are limited tokens each week (they reset). You'll have a lot to progress but limited ability to do so, progressing them as you play will be more productive. But really, play however you want lol, it's a game - just a tip for productivity.

I'm still trying to figure out why a clan of lalafells is a beast tribe, but whatever they gave me a tank.

Promotion for the dwarf quests seemed to drop the "beast" bit and just call them "tribe quests". It's widening what the feature is used for rather than wanting to call the dwarves a beast tribe.
