Thread: Monk Positionals 6.0

After playing for 4 levels, Let me share my experience so far.
First, Downtimes feel empty. I have to do all positionals to feel less boring....

Second, Blitz system is ..... well it requires more awareness than it should be when doing 3 different beast chakras.
Of course, I can cut the bullshit by ignoring my buffs and press 3 different GCD without thinking but that would be too easy.
So when PB's CD is at around 5 sec, I need a quick glance at my buffs's timers and make a decision in my head which 3 weaponskills I should press in the right order to make the most out of it.
It's easy when I do it on dummy but in real fight it's a whole different level because just dodging simple AoE can distract the buffs timers in my head and everything go south real fast but again it's just the first day and with practice I can see myself doing this by instinct without thinking.
Still need some of my awareness, nontheless.

But here is the point, SAM do not require this much awareness to do higher dps than MNK.

That's my first impression for now.
This Blitz is kinda challenging to master in its own way but somehow I don't feel satisfy using it.
Maybe because the numbers ain't worth all the concentration and energy I've put into it.
Or
Maybe because the job now relying too much from big damages instead of the old constant sustained damages.

I'm not gonna say anything about positionals at this point, removing them or not, I'll still do the the old positionals even if someone might call me an idiot. I have fun doing positionals and I will do positionals, that's that.
