If they're going to keep it this way then they have to do something with the timing of it all, whether it's another charge of PB or shorter cooldown, shorter CD on riddle or brotherhood, something. As it is even if you aren't a min maxing theorycraft type, you immediately see the flaws of this all after one basic ass rotation. Within the first cycle of filling up the beast gauge 3 times to unlock your hard hitter at whatever level, you'll be like "wait RoF isn't up" and start to wonder how/why you're supposed to hold it and how to work around this. Nothing about it is intuitive and this doesn't change even once you get used to it, and as soon as you tell a new person "haha bro actually you gotta overcap on solar" they're going to back out because it sounds stupid as shit.
All the positional stuff was kind of whatever, punishing if you don't know the fight but there was a rhythm to it all and even if you don't know the exact movement and timings of a boss you could quick pop RoE/TN to work at max efficiency. Not the most brain crunching gameplay but it flowed well and felt like a decent little dance and optimizing it was decently fun. Whatever this is is just some madness of looking at my timers sitting largely afk because I have no buttons to press anymore and doing math in my head to try and figure out how/when to pop things because of all their unsynced and ridiculous timers vs boss attacks, phases and movement. Getting it wrong, at best, will lower your damage as you waste uptime on RoF/brotherhood and at worst, completely destroy your rotation if you don't get to fill your Nadi. If the latter happens it completely unsyncs your rotation and CDs even more.
It's like one giant spreadsheet and it's stupid as all hell, and if the point was that monk was too "hard" before and punishing for people who didn't know a fight due to having to dance and time TN/RoE for max uptime then well, this is 100x worse. Even if you aren't min maxing you will absolutely feel the pain of something going wrong, and if you try to push savages then the brain aids of trying to maximize this vs a way easier class is just going to instantly run people off.
