    TBN is massively overrated. Massively.

    The other 3 tanks have their own version in Nascent Flash, Holy Sheltron and Heart of Corundum. They do not use your resource. They don't cost you damage if you can't get full value. 10 sec extra on the cooldown isn't that much when DRK is almost never spamming TBN every 15 sec.
    Nascent Flash in particular affects both players at once, healing more than the old Equilibrium on each, while reducing damage on top (which is functionally like a shield too). It blows TBN out of the water.

    TBN was good, but it's outdated. It's been left far behind.

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

    This! I'm so tired of people thinking TBN was so amazing because the CD was 15 seconds. If you were spamming TBN every 15 seconds, you were most likely doing it wrong. The only situations were spamming it so often won't lose you damage are when tanking packs of trash mobs. TBN would be an absolutely amazing skill if it had a 25 second CD, no mana cost, and Dark Arts was just removed as a mechanic. As it is now, it is far more clunky to use than any of the other tanks short cooldown defensive CD's. I guess I shouldn't be surprised though, DRK has a lot of clunky abilities that need to be addressed. TBN, Living Dead, Blood Weapon, ugh. Glad I'm rolling PLD this expansion!

    They have 2. One for each 3 GCD combo. For an additional 50 combo potency.

    2 looks like the magic number. And if the only bonus is just 50 potency I can see a lot of players just ignoring it.

    Gekko and Kasha still have positionals. They now affect potency rather than Kenki gain, which is now 10 on both by default.

    This actually deals with the issue a lot of people ran into with the positionals not being on the skill tooltips by default and only appearing at 52 once the Kenki gague was unlocked, which tricked a decent number of people into not knowing SAM even had positionals. So that's neat.

    Huh wow. What I feel was the least complicated when it comes to positionals has now by default become the most complicated by having 4. Which is funny since it doesn't feel that way in practice.
