MAC Game Glitches Every 2.5-3 Seconds

Hello,

I run XIV on a PS4 and on my MAC. My mac version results in glitches or freezes every 2-3 seconds.

- This will begin happening the longer I play or if I sit the controller down for just a minute or two.
- It has been going on for months
- I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game
- this does not happed at all on my ps4
- typically closing the game and relaunching will stop the glitches for a short while
- My MAC specs are as follows:

iMac (Retina 4k, 21.5 inch 2017)
Processor 3.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
Memory 8 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
Graphics Radeon Pro 560 4 GB

Any suggestions on troubleshooting? The freeze make it unplayable because it skips inputs. I have no clue where to start.
