Request to unlock racial gear and make fashion accessories stick with your character

I love that you guys unlocked gender-locked items for all genders!

Now how about doing the same for the racial starting gear?

And it's awesome that fairy wings are a thing now...except they disappear when you move. I know this isn't Aion, but the wings look amazing and it would be really cool to have them stay on our character. Of course I'm sure the programming needed to make that happen is insane...but it would honestly be amazing. I'd even give up ring slots for it.

Huh? The wings stay when you move, dunno what you are talking about. With the angel wings you can also jump and run around or do you mean like fight move? In that case you are right, it's a bit sad that we can't use some of the accessories in combat or with certain emotes...

As for the starting gear, i am strongly against this cause in my opinion the starting gear resembles part of the lore and character identity and it should stay that way.

Just an explanation on fashion accessories. They behave the way that they do because they're an extension of the mount system. Allowing them to remain during combat or interaction would require them to completely rewrite the programming. Not impossible, but I don't see it happening anytime soon.

As many times as I have accidentally tried to Try On other races' gear at the Market Board, I don't see it ever happening.

We'll do anything to get out of that leather getup they normally stick us in. No cost too great.

I fully agree on the racial stuff, It never really looked unique enough to be racially locked. But I'm aware there's tabs in the lore book about racial starting armors, but there's also nothing saying a weaver can't just remake the clothes in different sizes! Especially since the game is pretty fast and loose about what's important enough to keep locked and what to unlock.

Just saying it's kinda weird that we as players can walk around dressed as the Heavens' Ward post 3.0 and no one thinks anything of it, but a Hyur wearing the Roe starting gear!? Absolutely not! In reality though I know it's a matter of cost vs profitability for SE. The reality is that they would have to put modeling resources into fitting the gears to all races, same with the hempen stuff and they know they can't monetize it, and it's not very highly requested. So maybe it could happen? I'd be glad if hempen gear unlocked at least. But if it did happen it won't be for a very long time as it'll be worked on as a hobby/low priority side project.
