Like others have said, you may need to clear the dust out of your vents. Even if you have a desktop, remove the card and give it a once over with one of these: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gas_duster

Also, given that you have a GeForce card, I recommend downloading their app and letting it optimize your settings for FFXIV. You can get it here:
