There is a level 1 dummy you can place.

Yeah, my FC has a level 1 dummy and a level cap dummy in the yard. But it would be nice, if you're leveling a new job and are somewhere in the 60-something level range, to have the option to have an on-level dummy as opposed to the options there being "I will one-shot this thing." or "This is enough levels above me that most of my attacks will miss."

(Or, I suppose, "I will use many housing slots to have multiple dummies out.")

I aim to make my posts engaging and entertaining, even when you might not agree with me. And failing that, I'll just be very, VERY wordy.

But, it doesn't matter if you one-shot a dummy. They all have, effectively, infinite HP. Functionally, level 1 dummies have the greatest utility, and no player really gains anything by choosing one closer to their current level. They should all be level 1 dummies. The only difference they should have is aesthetics and visual appeal. Sure, level 1 dummies exist. But not in every style.
