Well it is Rydia's outfit... and from "FFIV characters who are mages" your other choices are the twins, Tellah (who is very pink and not that interesting) and Rosa. If you're not happy with Rydia then you definitely don't want Rosa.

The centre front could have done with being more of a curved drape, but ultimately it's a character costume and I guess they don't want to stray too far from the design.
Tellah at least wouldve bene better and more fitting. A bit more male-fitting than Rydia’s. This just goes onto the long list of feminine healer gear sigh. Nice to see that isn’t changing in Endwalker…
