I have a similar assumption. Whatever the device is is OOM'ing, port capped, or running its cores past their melting point. It is dropping 75% of packets the last 5 minutes here in prime time.Presume NTT, as a Tier 1 global provider, isn't dropping the ball; traffic should be making it to Square-Enix's perimeter.
204.229.2.9 is the Aether datacenter IP, which should really be a load balancer, farming us out to our specific world servers (of which each world has multiple physical boxes, if I'm remembering some of updates I've read in recent months).
So what's our esteemed x.x.x.230? A perimeter firewall with plenty of bandwidth but too-few cores that's always on fire?
