In all likelihood, the tomestone vendor in Eulmore and the NPC that will probably appear right next to the Crystarium aetheryte will both sell augmented versions outright, while the Eulmore upgrade vendor will have an option to upgrade previously purchased base versions at the direct cost of poetics so that you don't have to buy the upgrade tokens, because that is the schema that all the other tomestone gear vendors have been switched to as of several patches ago.

Most likely 510 poetics for the body, 345 for the head/hands/feet and 280 for accessories like it is in other expansions.

Remember the weapon, too. Unless they've already got an E12S weapon or completed relic, the weapon will be their best upgrade. It will probably cost 600 poetics.
