Would you like to see a job class based off of Azem's crystal?

Azem's memory crystal has a unique magic that allows us to summon allies to assist in our greatest time of need. Like the shade of Hades during our fight with Elidibus.

Honestly, that could be the case. That Emet-Selch could have been what remaining aether that was left of him that we summoned to help us fight Elidibus. He was the one to create our memory Crystal, after all. Though if you remember the title of that thread talking about the summoned Emet-Selch, I'd love to see and read it. It sounds like it'd be a really interesting read.

Imo I think it'd be too much of a reference to the past, after Endwalker I hope they move forward with something new entirely.

But it could also be something to help the WoL move forward as a means of never forgetting the past by always having your friends in some shape or form with you at all times, ready to help you in your hour of need. Never forget the past, but also don't let it hold you back either. At least that's how I'd think of this job class.

It sounds like equal parts walking spoiler, no solid theme/type unless you arbitrarily restrict who we would call on and for which skills, and distracting. I don't want to see a constant parade of other characters turning up.

Make it a "Freelancer" job crystal like FFV.

Have it be a special job like Blue Mage in which you are able to equip skills from any job you've already leveled. Group skills into ranks (for example Benediction, Hallowed Ground, Living Dead, etc. are all "Rank 9" skills) and make it so that you can take a limited number of skills from each rank (like 1 rank 9 skill, 2 rank 8 skills, 3 rank 7 skills, and so on).
