Concern over Reaper Avatar appearance

Yeah, it's too bad. It actually is unplayable in this state, so when I'm done leveling it, that's probably it.

Yeah, I was having fun leveling, and it was turning out to be the only melee that clicked with me. But seeing how it deletes 99% of my character choices that I worked hard to coordinate, my motivation to play it just tanked...

It is a pretty enjoyable melee, yeah. This is too much though, having your defining racial features deleted. I'd love to know what happened to the supposed thing about how each race would have a unique appearance, because from what I've seen, they all look the same. Literally. Even viera lose their ears. For that matter, this whole thing seems to just be putting your character in a robe with red eyes. So, the "transformation" is a bit disappointing in the first place.

As a mi'qote, I like not having my ears appear on the hood.

It doesn't invalidate anyone elses thoughts, but it's a +1 to counter.

I find the elezen ear socks pretty distracting in most gear so I'm glad the void form doesn't have that problem.

SE, please.. Give us those unique models, or at least adjust the current ones. I want to play reaper, and keep my character's defining racial features! It looks very cool, but this sucks! I don't want my ears (or tail, or horns) amputated!

They should add custom ears/horns/tails to the Reaper Shroud form when it's engaged.

I didn't even notice until I took some time to go hit a dummy without being in actual combat. Can't really stand around in shrouded form for long anyway, so it doesn't bother me.

Yeah, that's probably what they were thinking over at SE. They already largely stopped taking racial features into account, but come on.. not even for a new job? They could have at least done something.. instead of turning everyone into a hyur!

Honestly wish the Reaper Shroud form was a glamour of some kind. I really like the outfit and skin textures. Kind of surprised we don't have a Reaper set that's almost a one to one copy without the Voidsent glowy effects.
