Wondrous Tails 3 Line Turn In

I just finished my Wondrous Tails and I got 3 lines for it. Now the question that I have about this is if I should turn it in now or after the expansion launches?

I've heard that the gold certificate is not available as a reward if you pick up the Wondrous Tails while you are not level 80, which is the current level cap. My concern is that the gold certificate won't still be there next week if I decide to hold onto the Wondrous Tails.

I'd definitely be more interested in hard to get rewards than a chunk of experience.

Get the gold certificate now.
Chances are just doing the MSQ will get your first class to 90 with EXP to spare. And even if it doesn't, you're just saving yourself a single levelling roulette.
Whereas the gold certificate will be worth an 8-figure gil total next week, if they handle WT the same way they have the last two expansions.

Get the certificate now. You'll still be able to get another WT on Tuesday to complete before maintenance. You just won't be able to get a second one next week.

Anyone pushing MSQ at launch will be short XP at some point unless they do side content. I can remember doing a bit of side content so I could hit 79 and again to hit 80 so I could continue MSQ at Shadowbringer's launch. Just doing the role quests and Aether current quests hadn't been enough to bridge the gap. My alts didn't need the extra side content because I wasn't going through MSQ as quickly on them so had a lot of rested XP benefit while doing the dungeons.

You can still have next week's book filled out before the game goes down for maintenance and ready for emergency levelling EXP if you need it then.

I got 3 lines as well and I guess I should turn in now, losing some exp isn't too much of a deal

I wouldn't risk it, 3 line rewards are just too rare.

I also got 3 lines and honestly decided to grab the cert once i remembered you cant get them until capped
bit sad i lose EXP since i planned to level GNB and DRG during MSQ but one less book isn't much of a set back
