And bad dps will take ages to kill the adds and the tank run out of Cds and you'll need to heal even more in the end.
All the jobs are important and i really dont get why some do believe that tanks and healers are more important than DPS.

This was clarified already. I never said that dps jobs weren't as important as tanks or healers. Just that gearing priorities aren't always the same in some cases. Dps jobs can get away without gearing as intensively while leveling up, though I still believe it's important and would always recommend doing so, while healers and tanks have trouble staying alive and keeping others alive if they are too undergeared. You seem stuck on this for whatever reason and I'm not really sure why. It's not some personal attack or whatever. I'm sorry if I offended you or something?

Tbh the main content in this game is so casual that nobody really needs to do any preparation. Your first run through the msq will gear up the job you're currently playing, plus another couple jobs if you do the sidequests for more gear coffers. The dungeons along the way may get you gear for all the other jobs depending how many times you run them. Even if you don't want to do crafting to fill remaining gaps, people will sell that crafted stuff cheap on marketboard, especially since quests give you hq gear for free.
