I can see that your college education has treated you well! Maybe you should go back there and learn a thing or "to" more before attempting to take a jab at the educational history (or lack thereof) of others.

The pros/cons have already been discussed but since this is your "great" idea, you refuse to see that.

I think it's probable to work(to an extent). What SE focuses on is presentation, like with Ifrit, Moogle King and Garuda. WHo are we expecting now, a Leviathan primal?? (that or any other would be predictable) Who new we was going to be up against Moogles?

They could break the trend and introduce someone evil(not of the elements or primal). Let us say there was a demigod we would like to face off with, including familiar behavior.

Exdeath looks like someone who would work in the shadows in Ishgard or a Kefka end-game battle which would get harder and harder every time. SE development has ways to work character into the story or even in special events but its up to them to make good presentation out of it(shit, throw in a evil-Cloud or a good Sephiroth look-alike character). Ideas are still hard to come by and more creativity still is needed to make this MMO a classic.

I HATE when they put characters together from independent worlds, it's difficult for me to swallow the Avengers concept, the Justice League, and any other fictional IP.

Except the Avengers are all heroes in the same Marvel universe. Same for the Justice League and DC.

Lol I have seen this crap on every website. It usually is fans of a game that hate change or dont like to think outside of a box. Everyone thinks their idea is the best but like i said not one of you have tried to think outside of the box or weigh both pros and cons.

@ mushy all you did was talk gibberish. If you have degrees you must have taken a class in LOGIC and if so you should see all the falacies that are being used in the arguments. It is difficult to share ideas and mill them out when people aren't willing to cooperate. (I dont want people to agree. I want people to have a good conversation of what the possibilities would be considering this idea and why or why not it would or wouldn't be able to come to light)

I think my problem again is that I am on a website that most people have played a game that was balls for almost 3 years. Obviously you all are very dedicated to this MMORPG and would most likely oppose any idea someone threw at you.

To prove this I asked you people to come up with one good thing to say about the idea. Which is not asking much since I came up with reasons it would be bad. I got one smart ass response which tells me you are set in your ways and even if it could be probable you wouldn't care in the slightest.

I think this a great idea SafeOnBlock and I mean idea, which most of these people don't understand. It is so sad to see such and idea fall under due to the lack of education and one track mind of ffxiv players. It is why this game and forum is a lost cause due to its player base. It is as if your speaking to a room of babys, all you get is non sense and wish they were old enough to understand you.:-D
