This thread should be proof enough that *fans* care about certain things, otherwise they wont bother paying for what you give them. Your problem is that you *think* what the fans think is irrelevant. Have fun trying to sell a game like you're proposing to ppl who think its a bad idea. Its a bad idea precisely because fans don't like the idea, which makes this hypothetical game you are proposing a hypothetical *failure*. Not all ideas are good ideas, not all ideas are liked, not all ideas are successful. It should be clear to you that ppl just don't like it. Does it matter why they don't like it? No. At the end of the day when you are talking about an mmorpg, the only thing that matters is whether they like it or not. If they dont like it, they aint buying it..and sure as hell aint gonna subscribe to it.
Just move on to the next idea, christ. If we use this thread alone, so far your game is selling maybe 3 copies. And you want a company to throw a bunch of money at a fail project like that? When you garner a lot of positive community feedback, then we can talk about "what could have been". As this idea is not working, i suggest you work at a new one. So far, your game is a giant failure, and there's no way in hell SE would even *think* about it at this rate. Who the hell cares why ppl dont like it? You think SE runs around telling us to stfu, that we have no taste, or demand good reasons why we don't like something? No. We don't like it, we don't buy it, SE isn't stupid. They just say "okay" and give us what we want. Thats how the game world works. Reasons won't make your idea any more valid. If ppl dont like it its not valid. Period. Obviously the thread speaks for itself, so that is that. You are wasting mental energy over a failure of an idea (as the community sees it). No community, no game...obviously it didn't work out.
