No it was horrible. Clunky mechanics, bad storyline, no replay value. You have to compare it to other FGC games like Skull Girls, SSFIV, MVC, MK9 (which actually has and is known for its good storyline) KOFXIII. Those are great fighting games and not just my opinion because I dont play half of them and dont like MVC or MK9 but I know when I am looking at a good game.
Im also gunna quote myself again. You cannot argue the reason to not make a game is bad storyline because of this.
Here is my argument:
1. The success and failure of any game is due to the team who makes it. If anything I wouldn't trust such a large project to SE because they are a horrible company who has been going down hill since their merger. The only reason FFX was successful was that Sakaguchi had a hand in making the game before he retired. I argue that SE being balls is the only reason to not make this MMORPG because until they prove they can succeed in not making horrible games they shouldnt make another FF title.
You cannot possibly argue with my above statement because its not opinion but a fact. (Not the opinion of SE even though most people agree and critics agree.) But the fact that the success of a game is only truly the product of the production. Anything can be done if thought out and if enough effort is put in. Hell look at Marvel Comics thats an example on how to make Multiverse work and I dont even like comics it just comes down to good talented writting.
I tell ya what you get a developer in here and tell me that I am wrong and he gives me logical reasons or if any of you can come up with numbers and give me logical reasons (DATA not Opinion) on why this wont work and I will tip my hat to you.
