Gonna take a wild stab and ask, do you have your relic weapon equipped?

Typically with relic weapon quests, the weapon needs to either be in your inventory or armory chest, can't have it equipped.

Yes, I've tried having the equipment both equipped and in my inventory but have had no joy

Yes I took the quest as a white mage with Ingrimm as the weapon
