    Unable to Change Crafter Specialization after Reset

    So I was vicitm to a hack last month. Managed to be quick enough to save my account and block it off, but not before they took my gil. I went through the timely process of recovery which ment Support needed to roll back the character. At first I figured there'd be no issue and I assumed they wouldn't have to go too far, not sure when save states are.

    Unfortunately it would seem they rolled her far enough to when I was in the middle of switching crafting profession to make working on Skysteel tools a bit easier. I can live with remaking the tools, but my issue is that when they did this, the Soul of the Crafter that was set for Blacksmith was still in my inventory, while my character sheet shows Goldsmith as my 3rd spec.

    I bought another soul to change specs and fix things back around. However when I talk to the npc, he acknowledges I am GSM specked (Held), but when I choose to change to another and drop GSM, he says I don't hold them item. And I am only able to select from the 'Held' jobs. And it would seem trying to switch from another spec to BSM doesn't work either. Though I still have the BSM soul, my acknowledged jobs just show 2. I have been sitting on CRP and it's soul fine, and then still GSM which I still have no soul for, not will it let me select to make it a spec as surely I jest and am already specialized.

    Am I eternally stuck as a goldsmith without a blacksmith soul forever, or is there a way I can ... I dunno discard a soul, have the proper specialist ping properly. Clearly another recovery is out of the question as I will not loose more precious time. (which took near 3 weeks)

If you recently performed a Game Data Recovery on the Final Fantasy XIV and are having issues, please either reply back to the original e-mail tied to it (if applicable) or contact a Game Master in game using the /supportdesk function for further assistance.
