Thank you for contacting the FINAL FANTASY XIV Technical Support forums. In regards to your concern, this happens to be a known issue with the Monterey version of the iOS operating system and the game. This plans to be resolved by the end of December as stated in this official post:

In the meantime, we advise reverting your operating system back to a previous version to see if that may correct the problem.
