Preview Seasonal Decor?

Day after Thanksgiving; Christmas time. I'm trying to decorate and would like the presents and wreath (from 2014?) on the Mogstation, but I don't want to buy it if I can't see how it scales in size with my current decor. I can check third party sites, but it's not the same. When I "preview indoor furnishings", I'm not seeing an option for seasonal decor - just standard in-game stuff. Am I doing something wrong?

The preview is divided by what the furniture falls under or is labeled as. It does get a bit confusing at times to browse through. It probably doesn't have a seasonal tab due to how the seasonal items work where you can only get them either from the event the year they were given as a reward or on the Mogstation. ff14housing is a great site if the mog station doesn't give any in game pictures of how it'd look.

You aren't doing anything wrong, the furniture preview doesn't have list any of the seasonal event items, mogstation-exclusive furnishings, or any item you get as a bonus for purchasing IRL items. It makes it kind of hard to design with those items in mind when you can't even see if they're fit in with the design. :B

You're not doing anything wrong. Seasonal items are not available in the preview, probably so players don't feel like it's a marketing tool to promote the cash shop.

Try checking with friends who already have the items and ask them to display them for you.
