Super Specific Sound Effects Not Working

This started maybe a month or two ago? It's been bugging me that I've been missing certain sound effects for some reason.

Some effects include:
1. Summoning Fairy/Egi/Carbuncle but only the the 'ding' end bit.
2. Contre Sixte for RDM.
3. The BSHOOOM sound of teleporting.

And a lot of general effects seem like they aren't completely on? It sounds like some effects only are half of the effect.

I have tried 2 fresh installs on both my SSD and HDD, still have the same problem. It isn't any drivers, and even recording it/streaming FFXIV doesn't magically bring back those sounds in recording/stream.

I obviously checked the in game settings, and as I said, only SPECIFIC sound effects do not work. Tried Direct 9 instead of 11. Nope. I have no idea how this is happening. None of my peripherals should be messing with the sound, either. Updated Windows. No difference made.

This is the most bizarre thing I've ever had happen to me. Please help, I'm hyperaware of the lack of these sounds and my head hurts...

Can you submit a Final Fantasy XIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

After 2 more reinstalls and a lot of head bashing, I found the culprit of my 'certain sounds gone' crimes.

I unplugged my XP-PEN Artist12 Display Tablet, and suddenly the sounds came back.

I am baffled. Bemused. Astonished. Amazed. A little upset.

The little display tablet was trying to be a speaker despite never ever showing up on my Sound Settings list.

Reminder for anybody to check extra hardware they may own to see if that happens to be the culprit of your tech issues.

EDIT: NOT THE RIGHT SOLUTION AFTER ALL WOWZA.

Despite unplugging my tablet completely, the sounds the next day have disappeared once again. The search continues.

I've now learned that sound effects such as
Contre Sixte, Fairy Summoning, Carbuncle/Egi Summoning, Teleporting BSHOOM
ARE AFFECTED BY BATTLE EFFECTS SETTINGS.

SETTING THE BATTLE EFFECTS SETTINGS FOR MYSELF TO LIMITED MADE THOSE SOUNDS DISAPPEAR.

PLEASE FIX OR SEPARATE SOUND FROM VISUAL SETTINGS??? IT SAYS 'SHOW ALL' NOT 'HEAR ALL' PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE-

I THOUGHT MY GAME WAS EFFECTIVELY BROKEN FOR SO LONG.

Edit: I turned my effects to limited because I was progging The Weapon's Refrain Ultimate as an Astrologian. It's a very flashy job, you see.
